1. Adding a Program Membership

If you are already a YMCA member or if you have participated in a YMCA program in the last two years you are already in the YMCA's database and should not add yourself as a Program Member. Proceed directly to member sign in.

When adding yourself or a family member online enter the full name and address. Use no punctuation and use the format "1234 N Anywhere St" (quotes excluded) for the address. Be sure to provide an accurate contact phone number and birthdate. If the membership is for a person under 18 years of age, a parent name is required. You may immediately begin registering for programs once you see the membership confirmation screen.

This membership is good only for YMCA program participation. To convert it to a full facility membership you must come into one of our facilities and speak to someone from our membership services staff. The e-mail you receive confirming your online membership registration contains contact information.

Please retain your member number and password, you will need them for future YMCA online program registration.

2. Choosing a Program Category

Once you have entered the Program Registration area you will see:

         A list of available programs during a specific time period (month and year) just fill in the blanks. You may enter the same month in both blanks, you may enter a range of months, or you may leave them blank and see ALL available programs.

         You may narrow the list down further by selecting on the program category buttons or "enter" to see all.

         You have the option of choosing “Search for Program”. This option will allow you to search by AGE or look for a specific word in the title of the program…you may fill in all criteria or just fill in one blank, such as just AGE to find all programs available and suitable for that age.

3. Browse Program List

Once you have selected all of your criteria whether you used the “Category” Selections or “Search for Program”, you will see a list of programs with the following info:

*A brief description of the program (slide your mouse over the brief description to see if a more detailed description exists)
*The fee for a Facility Member and the higher fee for Program Basic Members
*The dates that the program begins and ends
*The day(s) the class is held
*How many slots still remain open
*If there are no slots available the number of people on the waiting list
*Last but not least the red block with "register" is the button you click to register for that class.

4. Sign in to Register

Once you click on the red button "register" your login screen will appear. *In order to register for a program on-line, you must be a member of the YMCA or have participated in a YMCA program within the last two years. If neither of these options apply to you, go to Add Program Membership.

You have two options for logging in.


If you are a full facility member look at your YMCA of the Inland Northwest Membership ID Card, You should see a number to the left of the bar code, this is the “ymca id number”. Enter your YMCA ID number in the blank provided.

After you enter your ID number, you need to enter your password. The first time you login you should use your first initials of your first and last name plus your birth date (mmddyy). For example the "John Smith" would be js060165. Note: the password should be in lower case and the month, day and year should each be represented by two digits. If you are logging in for a Youth Membership or a Program Membership for someone under the age of 18, the parent should use the Youth or Program Members YMCA id number, inititals and birthdate.

Once you have entered your 'first time login password' click on Login or press Enter.


If you are a past program participant or you do not have your Membership ID Card in front of you, you can also type in your last name, first name and the same password as described above...your name & password will have to match what our database holds, so if your name is Stephen and we have you in our database as Steve, it will not allow you to login. You membership ID card has your name printed exactly the same as we have in our database.

If you obtained your membership through the YMCA's online membership addition you will have created your password through that process.

The next screen that comes up will have each member on your YMCA of the Inland Northwest membership listed...click on the name of the person that you want to register for the program. Your ID Number, Name, and your email address if on file will appear. If no e-mail address appears, it can be entered as part of the sign up information. Your registration confirmation will go to the e-mail address entered.

You can now register for the program you selected above.

Once you are logged in and try to register, the program checks the age of the member and the membership type, to make sure the member is eligible for the program, if either of the criteria do not match the eligible criteria for the program, the registration will not be allowed. If you believe that this IS the class that the member should be in, you will need to contact the appropriate branch to find out what you need to do to be eligible for this program.

5. Submit payment information

Once you have selected the program you want to register for you must enter your credit card information.

You must enter your credit card information, exactly as it appears on your credit card. Click on Continue. If you are registering for a Youth or Program Member under 18, it should default to the name of a parent...if it doesn't you must enter in the parents name that is on the credit card.

You will now see the cost of the program and your credit card info...if you choose.

"Add to Cart" it will total the programs and allow you to "continue" adding on more programs.

"Proceed to Check Out" to complete the registration process

Delete the program you just registered for.

Back or Logoff to stop registration completely.

If you choose Add to Cart and then continue you can Back up and choose another member on your membership to register...so register the whole family in one shopping trip...you will not have to login or enter your credit card information more than once a trip.

6. Submit Registration

Once you are sure that you want to register for all the programs selected:

Click on "Check Out," you will complete the registration process and receive a confirmation on your screen for printing and will be e-mailed to you for future reference. Your credit card will be charged the Total that appears on the confirmation receipt.

7. Additional Notes

Your registration will immediately update to our database and be logged for the day...if you need to make any changes after you have confirmed your registration you will have to contact the Front Desk at your local branch to make the changes for you.

If you have a balance due on a program you will be able to make that payment online by choosing 'rosters' which will show any outstanding amounts due to the YMCA.

If you have any specific questions about a particular program or class, call the number on the left of your screen while you are in registration mode - any front desk staff will be able to answer your questions.
